Seems like simpleX is getting popular by day. It has now climbed up the charts and is within top 30 themes at WordPress.org. I can’t wait for people to know about the new cool updated version with better typography and better interface and of course organized files for designers. I am hoping this update will boost the downloads further.

Cleaning up the house a bit – v1.2.1
SimpleX theme now comes with a cleaner code. Since 1.2 release yesterday, I took sometime to clean the codes so it is much easier to customize if anyone needs to. SimpleX is now passed the xHTML and CSS validation. There is a separate CSS sheet for IE6/7. IE 8 Beta 2 seems to work well with the normal CSS (what a relief, IE no more seems to need hacks). It has been now tested with IE6, IE7, IE8 Beta 2, FF2, FF3, Safari 3.2 and Chrome 0.4.
simpleX v1.2 with a major update!
Since the release of simpleX on the WordPress theme site, there has been an overwhelming response and I am encouraged to update simpleX and make it more usable. Thank you all who have downloaded the theme just to preview it or use it on your personal blog. I would love to see people posting any issues or even their sites with this theme just to showcase on here. Yes, you are free to make any changes you want to the theme.
